1. The importance of transformer oil quality detection
As a key medium inside the transformer, transformer oil not only plays the role of insulation, cooling and arc extinguishing, but also directly affects the service life and safety of the transformer. Therefore, it is crucial to conduct strict quality detection and control of transformer oil. This includes detecting its insulation strength, heat resistance and oxidation resistance to prevent equipment failures and safety accidents caused by oil problems.
2. Detection of insulation strength
Insulation strength is an important indicator to measure the ability of transformer oil to prevent electrical breakdown. High temperature test: Place the oil sample in a high temperature test chamber, set a certain temperature (such as 90°C or higher) and keep it for a period of time (such as several hours to several days). Performance evaluation: After the test, key indicators such as color, transparency, acid value, flash point, etc. of the oil sample are tested to evaluate its heat resistance.
Result analysis: Compare the data before and after the test to determine the stability of the transformer oil at high temperature. If the performance decreases significantly, it is necessary to consider replacing or improving the oil.
4. Detection of antioxidant performance
Antioxidant performance is the ability of transformer oil to resist oxidation and deterioration. We use a variety of methods to detect and control the antioxidant performance of transformer oil:
Oxidation stability test: Simulate the operating environment of the transformer, accelerate the oxidation process of the oil by adding catalysts, creating high temperature conditions and passing air. After a period of time, the acid value, dielectric loss factor and other indicators of the oil sample are tested to evaluate its antioxidant performance.
Antioxidant content detection: Advanced detection technologies such as infrared spectroscopy or liquid chromatography are used to accurately determine the content of antioxidants in transformer oil. Adjust the amount of antioxidant added according to the test results to optimize the antioxidant performance of the oil.
Regular detection and maintenance: Establish a regular detection system for transformer oil, conduct regular sampling and detection of transformer oil in operation, and promptly discover and deal with problems such as oil aging and pollution.
